I have a passion for teaching and demonstrating.

I have demonstrated at a number of New Zealand club events and am the president of my local woodturning club. For me, a big part of woodturning is sharing and passing on my knowledge to others.

One of my goals is to demonstrate at a international level. Part of this goal was achieved when I was asked to demonstrate at the 2019 AAW International Symposium in Raleigh, North Carolina.

My demonstrations range from beginner to expert. I cover things like achieving a good form and proportions, getting a good finish off the tool, hollowing and texturing, colouring and embellishment off the lathe.
